Get a few decoys and start looking at some farm ponds that are holdind a few birds. Remember the birds are coming for a reason so dont call, then call a little bit once you start feeling a little...

I have hunted over alot of dogs of all breeds. The biggest thing is how much time training you do. Go hunting with a few guys dogs and the one you like the best try to get a simular breed stock.

Was actually a pretty good year with the lack of water, but as far as numbers go was a pretty average year. Normal year 100 ducks, good years 150+.

Birds were here Saturday after the front but sunday they were gone due to the lack of food and water. Hopefully we will get some rain and not snow which has just been just soaking in....
