I have several Simmons and one Banner 4x12 that is probably 18yrs old and is so beaten up that it literally has pieces missing but still keeps 3/4" or less patterns @ 100yds. Not bad for a cheap...

No, it's a Weatherby gun chambered for Remington 7mm rounds, not Weatherby 7mm rounds.

You're right. The tube is 30mm, the objective lens is 52mm. It is pretty darn bright at dusk and dawn compared to some other scopes I have. I thought about 154 Hornady's but I shoot Remington Core...
