Thanks for the input, By the way, I do use a bore brush, and T/C solvent. Maybe I will try one of the solvents that Tripple7 suggested. I think it was more of the quick wrap that I needed to employ....

The only time I have ever heard of a carbon arrow shattering is if the archer is shooting the wrong arrow for his draw weight, or what sniper was saying. They are strong, and safe arrows.
