Hog Hunts in West Virginia area?

I was wondering if there was any good places where i could take my son hog hunting here in WV or in our boarder states?

I don't know the full story on this,but with Ohio being a shotgun only state this had to be close range. It seems like they would have figured each other out,but again i don't know all the details.

I live in Barbour Co. I have seen several coyote tracks in my area and have seen a couple coyotes in the field beside of my house. I have been out calling every few days, so far no yotes have came in...

you really should buy a "hub" style blind. i got my son a stackhouse, it works fine but if i had it to do over again i would have bought a hub style. he took his first bow kill out of it this year at...

ruger 77/22 hornet

I just got a Ruger 77/22 Hornet yesterday. what seems to be working the best for everyone?I plan on coyote hunting with it. I thought about trying the v-max or the sierra varminter.

Ruger m77 25.06, 75gr. Hornady V-max. I use IMR 4350 powder. I have had some people tell me the 75gr. v-max is to small for the 25.06, but i haven't had ant trouble.

thanks for the info KONK. i bow hunted out of a ground blind this year and in low light conditions i found out that is was hard to see through my peep. My son had the same problem. thanks again

I reload for every gun i have, except my sons 30-30. most people use 150 or 170 gr. Use what you like guys, but you whouldn't believe what the Federal 125 gr. hp will do to a deer.

I use IMR 4350 with 100gr. gameking. works great in my 243. 4064 is good to, just what ever works best in your rifle.

I agree with you, they do look alot like the cabelas bow. I was at a local archery shop today and they had never saw them either.

I've had people tell me you cant beat the factory loads on the 300wsm, but i have reloaded for a while now and this is my first magnum rifle so i want to see what i can do with reloads. thanks...

i agree with ya mason 100%. someone needs to ask the dnr how many button bucks are getting killed as does. point restriction would be a very good thing, all these spikes and three pts. in barbour...

reloading 300wsm

just bought a winchester m70 300 wsm and was wondering if anyone was reloading for it yet, if so whats working the best. probably a nosler partition but not sure on powder

i put a whisker biscuit on my sons bow, he shoots 3" fletch on a 24" shaft with the standard right hand twist and it doesn't effect the arrow flight at all
