I know that you wanted Browning or Winchester (Both I own different cal.) but in a 300 wsm a Ruger #1 is hard to beat.

Find a pull you could easly pull under the eyes of a buck trying to find movement in the tree you are in and hold that wieght while he is looking at you.

one on one good luck over there I got back for a 2yr deployment in July to Cuba and the writing is on the wall to deploy again sometime soon. I haddn't got to hunt much either I had a shoulder injury...

WATCH-OUT women with sharp knife and a good shot? sounds dangerous! LOL My wife is a great shot at distances but couldn't shoot a target 10' infront of her. I don't know if that is good or bad.LOL
