RE: A little home "smithing"

It's a 308. I'm not sure on the age but I'm guessing the 70's. When I have time I'll get the serial# and see if I can look it up. It can't be rare, it has impressed checkering!

RE: The smells of hunting

I was straightening the shed this weekend and had more smells that remind me of Hunting, dusty canvas, the old sleeping bags and the greasy camp stove. I think I need to clean the stove!

Iwas walking into a convenience store today when I passed by an idling diesel pickup. The first thing that popped into my head when the smell hit my nose was HUNTING! About the only time I'm exposed...

RE: A sad Hunter

WYO, I understand what you’re saying but you're looking at it from the perspective of a $45 tag that you have fairly high odds of getting. What I’m saddened at is that they have reached a...

RE: A sad Hunter

While your escalator analogy sounds correct, I would describe it to be more like a series of toll booths. Pay at each one, or get off the road. And you can’t get to your destination without paying...

RE: I have to get a new rifle

I got my new rifle. The dealer was not as accommodating as I thought he would be. He was only going to give me $350 credit for the Ruger when I know $435 was paid by the Mule Dear foundation. And If...
