The 1953 was when the Factory in Michigan. This bow was made 1963-1967. The bow is mainly glass composit and Fred Bear did use this particular model himself in Mule Deer hunting in Utah in 1964.

Papascout, preciateit but the limbs are all the way down, maxed out at 72#. Gone in and out with the setting, their, from 53# to 72#. still the same

Had leeches on the string but even took them out. Shooting Gold Tip 5575 and 100 grain tips. Had the same noise with the leeches on the string.

That is called arrow reflex. At 10-15 feet the arrow in reflexing. A couple of things you might try. Shoot though paper at 5 and then 10 YARDS and see what you have for a tear. If you still are...
