I know the going rate for a shoulder mount in southern Michigan is about $400. I'd be pleased as peaches to get a good shoulder mount for $300. But then again, its all what you're used to.

Yah, I'm shooting the Hornady 265 gr Flatpt. My shoulder tells me that whatevers on the receiving end isn't gonna be happy. Can't wait to see what it does to a deer at 50 yds.

I've been shooting 180gr. Corelockt SP out of my .30/06 for years and they've always shot true. Good precision and weight retention. Good value too. They haven't given me any reason to switch.
