I have a 25-06 Rem sendero Heavy Barrel. This gun is amazing. It is my most accurate centerfire rifle, and I own plenty. Amazing combo, get it, you wont be dissapointed.

Not to add to the confusion, but you may also want to consider the .444Marlin. I have one on a custom Mauser 98 action, really like the gun. I use Hornady Light mags in 265grain, shoot excellent....

I use this ammo in my Mauser 98 .444marlin. Its great ammo in that rifle, I do plan on trying it in other rifles as well. Accuracy is much better than from the rem ammo.

Have you considered a .444 Marlin? That is an overlooked caliber, it shoots great. I would go that route over a .357, or any other lever action for that matter.
