What the heck, I will jump in here too! I have an 835 that seems to be a pretty darn good shotgun. Not real pretty, but goes bang every time, and ejects everything I shoot. I got a heck of a deal...

In the couple of elk I have poked .270 holes in, Nosler Partition 150's have worked well. I used that bullet with the FederalPremuim stuff and liked it.

Ruger No 1's have potential to be incredibly accurate. Out of the box, they aren't much different than a good bolt action. I have a 2o inch 30-06 that shoots anything I put in it at about 1.5 inch...
