Very few Trad broadheads are sharp out of the packet. You'll have the pleasure of putting an edge on them- but what an edge it'll be!

Zwickeys are great heads.

A friend of mine can switch between bows almost at will- he's simply a fantastic archer.

It takes me a few dozen arrows to settle after switching bows, but as a rule I don't struggle too much....

The arrows will come off the bow tail right ( for a RH archer)- this fishtailing will rob your arrow of energy and will have a detrimental effect on accuracy.

2117's will be WAAAAY too stiff from your bow. I'd go with 1816's with 100 grain points.

As a bit of a bonus you can get them in Easton's Jazz series of shafts, which are a good bit cheaper...

Foam blocks work well for broadheads, as do hay bales. Alfalfa's the best!
Bales will blunt your heads double quick, so keep that in mind.

Right, LP, it sounds like you might have plastic fletches on those shafts. If you can't rotate the nocks you'll either have to replace the nocks or the fletches. If you refletch get some feathers on...

Veniards fly tying dyes have good fluorescent colours- try your local flyshop.

Rit/ Dylon et al do a good job too- use the cold water dye, and just follow the instructions on the packet.

I regrind ALL my feathers now- it does take a while to do, but I can get the bases square and thin. I take them down to around 1/64" or so.

Talk to Chad (LBR) about a string.I would try 1916's and 2016's- see which shafts fly best for you. Easton Jazz shafts are cheap and spine the same as XX75's- try some of those before you splash out...

Well, they are XX75's- they should be pretty tough. With alu. shafts the wall thickness plays a big role in determining durablility. 2013's and 1916's spine about the same, but 6 1916's will last me...
