i would get the 300 winchester mag not the short pecker its not as prooven yet. and i dont like the way it looks short and fat vs long and skinny i guess there aint much a difference

i have a 30- 0ttt 6 and a 7mm rem mag now i have to say that if i had the chose of having only one of those it would be the 7mm rem mag just a great gun.

nicley said again left me hangin. my mossberg 835 ult. mag with the turkey choke it came with and some lead number 5 shot is the best combo ive had in fact its the only one it works damn good

i dont think it realy would mater that much but for ducks geese turkey stay with long the other ones it shouldnt affect your shot that much you mihgt taking longer to swing at a phaesant quail or...

ok if your hunting deer get the 7mm its just a bigger cartridge and a 270 and 7mm are about equal in recoil 7mm shoots flatter and cost the same if not a litlle less than 30 06 rounds i own a 7mm ...
