Which of these bullets should I get?

I'm not sure if it matters, but I've recently bought a Thompson Center Bone Collector Muzzloader.

I'm not a big fan of the plastic "sheeths"...

I cant decide between 2 bullets.

Don't know if I like the coyotes reticle....I like the Omega step up from 100 yard to 150,200,250.

The coyotes step up is 100,200,300,etc.....

If I'm 3" low do I raise it (up) or lower the scope settings?

Same with windage, if im left do I follow it moving left or is it the opposite?

Here in NY, they finally lowered the age to hunt to 14 (no rifle in Chautauqua Co.) My son has a Mossberg 500 with a scope but I just found out that there is no rifled choke available for that gun.

I'vereceived a $100 to use towards a new scope for my Remington 870. I figure if I add $50-$100 I should be able to find a decent shotgun scope.

I hunt mostly hardwoods so I don't need anything...

When you refer to quartering, are you just cutting off the hind and front legs, removing the backstraps and tenderloins and putting the lets in the cooler?
