I thought racoon would be the most logical choice too, but I've got quite a few racoon pics and none of them look like these. I'll post a racoon pic from the same camera for reference....

I have no idea what this animal is. I think it looks similar to a racoon, but the coloring and length of legs is off. It also doesn't appear to have a tail. Pics were taken in southern Minnesota....

I'm going to guess 2 and a half when he was shot. In the live picture his antlers sure look like the antlers of an older buck, but his body definitely says otherwise.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, paid out the butt for processing. I've always wanted to just do it myself, but have never had anyone show me how and haven't seen it done. That's what sucks so much...
