Nice Buck MN! I live and hunt just north of Alexandria and my last hope is tonight or early tomorrow morning B4 the orange swarm hits! Anyway congrats on the good buck & good story.

I'm not going to bash but I do agree with atlas if he's been bow hunting for 5 years he should know what to do and what not to do especially when it comes to the recovery.

We do all of ours, make our own burger,sausage and jerky. My father taught my brother and me, I'll teach my son when he's old enough. Good time to down a few brews and fire the grill up too!

Last night I had a large buck definelty a shooter at 10-15 yards quartering away. It was dark enough in the woods that my pin wouldn't glow so, I had to let him pass not the easiest thing I ever done...
