I like the call but they don't seem to last. When I go to use them the next season no workie. Does anybody else have this problem? Anybody know of a way to avoid this or to get them going again?

I feel that the longer narrower ones work better for me. Easier to get between close growing trees and bushes. Easier to just walk in general. Also you want to pay close attention to the bindings....
