ya, i dont think im gonna force fetch him. But today, we ran the pheasant scent and the pheasant dummy thing all over. He picked it up every time. So, i dont think im going to worry about it....

as far as that, no we dont have to use steel, but my dad would prefer it so our dog doesn't get lead poisning, or even us get lead poisning. But maybe im wrong, maybe lead wont hurt your dog/us....

well we have a PL but, honestly we dont care if he points or not, labs are great flushers, but anywayz, what we did was get the pheasant scent, put it on a ball or a stick, or w/e you throw for him....

yes sir, you'd be surprised where the pheasants go! We were walking in like 5 inches deep of water and we got our limit, i mean birds were everywhere. Congrats on your hunt! any pics?

umm... we've actually did use that dummy throwing it in the air and when it reaches max height we shot by it, and he got it. he aint gun shy or anything.
