logs - I had a goal for 2004, kill an AR buck and KS buck with my longbow and a muzzleloader elk. I got my elk, come close to my AR buck and went with my Dad's compound to kill this non-typical...

#1 - you lost your focus/concentration. The human minds eye will pick the line of the deer back as a focal point every time from what I have heard if your focus is off. I uh, had it happen once :)

ewolf - I have 49 uncut (1 cut to 28") 60# spined shafts if those would work for you. My ACS likes the 70# spine.

Oregon Mtn Woods sell on EBAY and on the sid ea bit cheaper.

I think I finally did it ! I made a set of wood shafts that are straight, fly well, close ot the right spine and pretty.


I used shafts from Orgeon Mtn Arrows, white POC shafts in 70# spint...

After going into the woods with a recurve/longbow ......... its hard to take anything else. I hunted muzzleloader elk a few weeks back and it just wasn't the same.
