quality of vintage redfield scopes

I really like the looks of the 70-80s redfield wide view low power scope they look period correct on the old marlin 336,you can still get them in good shape but how do they compare to the new...

I hunt in these areas and see no differents after 4 years.I'm in the woods a lot.I did take a nice 10 pt last year but we seen some even before the 3pt rule.Still see a bunch of scrub bucks.My take...

Yes I hunted there when I lived closer,If you put your time in its good hunting.Lots of area to hunt..also many rules to follow. They also had a bow only area that might be worth checking out...ED

need scope for mountain rifle

can someone recomend a scope for around 350 for my Remington 700 mt rifle.most of the scopes 2.5 to 10 or 3x9 seem to big most of my shots are under 150yds...ED

Hunted 3j-3c this year ,hunted some private land that was good for many years.This year I hunted almost every afternoon and all weekends bow-rifle and now blackpowder.I have seen two bucks all season...

Can buy a lyman deerstalker or t\c white mountain carbine for the same price.I do most of my hunting under 100 yards,any body out there own either one pros cons,loads ? thanks ED
