Just got a scope put on my CVA Frontier Hunter Carbine. It had scope mounts already, but I have yet to shoot it. Hope I don't have any problems! I'm really hoping to use it this year to hunt!

The legal minimum for a bow here in NY is 35 lbs to hunt deer.

While I think this is a little light, 40 - 45 lbs will definately kill a deer if the right broadhead is used.

If you only have half the arrow (12 or so inches), I would guess you hit the opposite shoulder... Otherwise you'd have a lot more arrow..
