RE: Sako 85 control round feed

The Sako 85 is actually more similar to a Winchester Model 70 controlled round push feed action. On the Rugers Kimbers and 70 classics the extractor picks up the next round right out of the magazine....

RE: Browning rifle scopes?

If it is the same one that I am familiar with then it is made my Bushnell and is very similar optically to the Elite 4200.

It's October 9th, thanks giving here. I took the first week of October off work for the opening of archery season here in Ontario. It was a slow week for me. I saw three deer last Thursday night but...

RE: ultra lite fishing today

I love fishing with my ultralite for bass and crappie. I tie on a micro tube or even a woolly bugger. Provides hours of entertainment.

RE: Hat's off boys... the beast is dead.

Does anyone know what his 2003 rack scored? I saw an article on him in North American Whitetail while he was still in velvet and it was thought he would go 350 once the velvet was shed. But I never...

RE: Cross Bows

I shoot an Excalibur Exomag. It's a recurve which makes putting a new string on a lot easier. Excalibur is known for thier accuracy and they make a quality product. I practice some shots at 50 yards...

RE: legalizing crossbows

Here in Ontario we have been able to use crossbows during the regular archery season for years. This was my first year hunting during the archery season and I bought a crossbow. I just didn't have...

RE: Did I get charged by a bear?

Could have been a bear but I doubt very much that he charged or bluffed one. I have surprised a couple of bears pretty close while tramping through the bush. They have always taken off quciker than...

RE: Slug Question

It is an older Winchester Model 2200 that I bought used. I have never seen another model 2200. Can't even find anything about it on the Winchester web site. Shoots fine though. I'm not going to buy...

RE: remington 710

I bought a 710 and I am not unhappy with it. For the purpose I used it for I don't think it can be beat. I was doing forestry surveys and always found myself in the middle of the bush spooking game...

Slug Question

Can I shoot a slug through my shotgun that has a full choke? I may be deer hunting in a shotgun only area. I have hunted deer with my shotgun before but I have only used buck shot. If I could use a...

RE: Would you take this bear, let him grow
