My favorite time is about an hour before sunrise. I hunt in a very active area for wildlife so I hear all the hoots from owls and screams from bobcats. I love just sittin' in my stand listening to it...

The camera does take good pics for the price. I think one of the only complaints has been the range of pics at night. Camera doesn't take pics out too far.
