Casting for 50 cal muzzy loader

i'm thinking about buying a .452 cal 252 gr mould to cast bullets for my 50 cal in line ML. USe with 50 cal plastic sabot. Any pros or cons with this?

WHY can't you use any high brass case for reloading slugs (2 3/4")? Can you us any shot shell primer when reloading slugs? Thanks in advance.

Because IF I have the option of using either a muzzle loader or a modern center fire rifle, I will choose a center fire every time. Low state does not have a "muzzle loader" season.

How many muzzle loaders do you suppose are in the lower part of the state? They ca hunt with center fire from Aug 15--Jan 1. Upstate must hunt archery or muzzle loaders until gun season opens...

Scope problem?

Zeroing a Heym 270 win. It has an old redfield scope. With Caldwell deadsled, at 25 yes " right on". , at 50 yards 3/4 inch high, at 100yards not on the paper (15 x15 inch). I'm thinking bad scope?
