Sounds like a sound I heard on a website that had live recordings of deer. They said it is an intimidation sound before two bucks fight. Doesn't sound like that was happening in your case though....

carbon arrows hitting left

compared to my cedars. Spine is 55-75, my bow is 45@ 28" Over spined I know... would this cause a left impact?

Martin take down recurve?

I saw one on Cabelas website for around $180.00 I believe. The take downs are cheaper than the other bows? I would think it would be the other way around. Anyone have any experience with the cheaper...

First. Obviously a three blade head will do more damage than a two blade head. I have both snuffers and zwickey heads. I can sharpen the Z's to an absolute razors edge on my paper sharpening...

I don't know a lot about recurves. I've shot this bow since I was a kid mostly at fish.Well the bow is aprox 30 years old? Ben pearson cougar ser. #57330-125 x45 @ 28" AMO 62" and the shelf is flat....

Shot a 100 gr. 3 blade muzzy with these carbons. It shot better than field points if that is possible. I just hope that this setup will be enough to shoot pass throughs.
