Re-freezing pre-frozen meat?

Do you think its ok to take out some pre packaged bear meat, grind it up into burger and re-freeze it? Or would freezing it twice be bad for it?

RE: 830 Yard Shot Drops an Elk

If you shoot an Elk at 800 yards with a .338 Ultra mag pushing a 300 grain Sierra matchking at 2770 Feet Per Second, its about the same as shooting an Elk at 300 yards with a 180 grain partition out...

RE: 165 vs. 180

You wont see any difference until you get past 400 yards. Obviously the 165's will be faster. I shoot 165 partitions out of a 30-06.

"game4lunch" noted he never has a campfire due to the smell. I have to disagree with this. I always bask in the campfire scent. Elk smell fire all the time. Although they associate it with danger,...

RE: Alright guys, it's time for honesty

I shoot a 30-06 and a .338 ultra Mag. I use a break while practicing and not while hunting. To not flinch is just in your mind. Just pretend your shooting a .22 and there will be no recoil. Try to...

RE: Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder ?

NO, But if you take away cars there would definatly be less death. Instead of taking away somrething that is dangerous, teach responsability. They do that with cars.

I have a 30-06 for small critters and a .338 Ultra mag for large critters. I dont like the short mags. If your going to go magnum then get a magnum. Not an almost magnum.

RE: Stoeger Model 2000?

Awesome gun for the money. Why pay $1500.00 for a Benelli when you can pay $400.00 for one. Yes they kick because they are very light. Just put a limbsaver on it. They make good boat paddles too.

375 RUM OR 375 H & H?

For a future Alaskan gun. I am leaning towards the RUM. It seems to shoot as flat as a 270 and the H&H has a trajectory of about a 30-06. I reload everything so ammo is no problem. Any opinions?
