cut it as soon as you can if its warm...if its cold you won' t have a problem with bugs. We usually let the deer hang 3-4 days before we cut them up, but only because we wait until we have enough...

In NY it depends on how old you are, if you need someone with you and how old they also need to be. NY kinda sucks for deer hunting anyways because you have to be 16 to hunt them with a gun. small...

Where I live there are for the most part just Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock, and Woodcocks are definitely the harder to hit of the two.

I usually walk along hedgerows, and in old apple orchards. There is a spruce stand they like to roost in when it gets nasty out. Sometimes I get them sitting up in Hemlocks too.

I get a little bit nervous whenever I' m huntin and get that feeling something is watching me, seein a bear really gets my heart goin too, but I don' t hunt with a bow, so I' m not real worried...

I believe its called melanism...just the opposite of being albino. I suppose there are more blacks than albinos because the white/pink stands out too much and makes them easier targets for predators...
