I'll second the '09 Razor Edge.

I just posted this else where, but according to the 2009 Diamond brochure I just got. The new Edge's will allow you to lower the draw weight by 50%. The now offer...

RE: BowTech - Difference -- Diamond Edge Compound Package vs. Razor Edge?

I just picked up a Diamond brochure/catalog today and was reading up on the Razor Edge for a possible bow for my 11yr old daughter.

One thing that caught my eye was the following statement,...

RE: Hard plastic/Hard rubber stock?

Probably a Hogue Overmolded stock. I have one on a 30-06 and actually like it especially when it bumps into stuff like a metal tree stand, no noise.

I've had a Bushnell Trophy on a .44 mag pistol for serval years now and love it. I have no idea on the batteries, I'm still on the original batteries. I am, however, leaning very seriously on...

RE: Winchester Model 70 or Ruger M77 Mk II

I've got an '06 Winchester XTR Featherweight and two Ruger M77's in .243 and 7mm.

I've had nothing but great experiences from all of them, they all shoot and feel great in my hands.

The...

RE: 30-06 or 7mm rem mag for deer?

If you reload you may think about the 7mm-mag as you can use the same bullets for both. Or go with the '06 if you're itching for something different.

RE: Suggestions for my 1st Rifle

My vote is for the T/C Encore if this is going to be your one and only rife. The price is competative with most of the others and cheaper than alot. You get to pick your first caliber for hunting in...

RE: low hunting calibers?

The regulations differ from state to state on the minimums, but I personally wouldn't go with anything less than a .243. A good number of deer have been killed with this caliber, I got my first one...

When has 'need' ever had anything to do with hunting, shooting, fishing and etc..

RE: 7mm-08 my first gun?

I have no idea on the 7mm-08 caliber being a good choice for bears especially the bigger ones, but as for the difference between it and the .308 I wouldn't worry too much about recoil. I've got a...

RE: Hunting in rain

I killed one of my nicer bucks back in 2000 in a 34 degree gully-washer while everyone else was laid up back at camp. My shot actually woke a couple of them back up.

RE: Steiner Binoculars

Do a quick search on the web, I've forgotten the site but I've seen them for $189 and that was a year ago. Plus the military/marine model can be found even cheaper if your look around a little.

RE: Gore-Tex 100% waterproof ????

We've had leaks in our older suit pants and all came from the seams. We used some seam tape that's made for tents and found at Walmart and it has worked well.

RE: ATV: 600twin sportsman or 400 sportsman?

I went from a '98 500 to an '03 600 early last year. I really like them both, the only problem I have with the 400 is the lack of power. I'm not into speed, but spend most of my time in low gear....

RE: Remington 870

It is most likely removable, mine was and only came with one choke. I don't remember which one. I would try to call and ask for clarification, but it is probably removable.

RE: ?? about 16" vs 20" barrel

I love Rugers and the fact that I can save a good...

?? about 16" vs 20" barrel

I'm in the market for a new rifle in 7mm-08 and am considering either the Model 7 SS with the 20" barrel or a M77 Compact with a 16 1/2" barrel. I like the shorter barrel of the Ruger, but love the...
