Yeah I agree with what you guys are saying. I just wondered if any one was familiar with this method of "rough sighting your pins",I wouldn't trust it at the actual range.

I don't think making the arrow "slippery" would help much, I do think a smaller diameter would decrease wind resistance (if much occurs) and help penatration through the animal.

How to put on face paint?

For you guys that use face paint; what technique do you use?
Do you just put vertical stipes? Or mix it in? What colors?
Anytime I use face paint my whole face ends up being black or very dark.

Check your nock point on the string, I had a problem when I got a new string on my bow the nock point was set to high and I hit WAY low at 20 yards with my 10/20 yard pin.

Sorry, i said i should have about 63 ft/lbs of energy with a 60# and 430 grain arrows-- that was a miscalculation-- i should have only about 53 ft/lbs of energy with a 70# and 400 grain arrows
