Your Ponds look fantastic, over here in the U.K. i do most of my Wildfowling on the Foreshore, but i also have access to a Farm which i dug Three Ponds on, anyhow what im really wanting to know is...

did not realise that feeding flight ponds was illegal over with you, over here in the UK it is not, i have a Farmer friend who has 3 ponds and i start feeding Barley from August, the duck season ...

I would think that the best option for you is evening flight, wait for the ducks to come to you, not you look for them, settle down about an hour before dusk, put a few decoys out make sure that you...

I go Pidgeon & Crow shooting during the Closed Season flighting them in to roost, or in the Summer Months Decoying down on the arm.

Mine is the Remington 11-70 for Wildfowling, using a 1/4 Choke and 32g load. Pidgeons & Woodcock i use Cylinder & size 7 shot.
