Go and try some multipe calls out and see which one fits you best. Alot of competition sounds are not used in the field. if you can cluck and moan and some good loud honk to get their attention...

I was hunting north of Hayden and we were definetly not alone...there was alot of hunters and surprising alot from out of state. Where we were it was about the same as last year....way too many!!

I use my .338 for everything..this year I even used it on antelope. I am so comfrontable with the gun, shooting it onn smaller game does not bother me. I handload the Nosler Accuboonds in 225grains...

We have a Model 99 lever action 300 Savage and it is one great gun. My wife is going on her first antelope hunt this year and she insists on shooting it as she is deadly accurate with it.
