I like a longer barrel myself. 26" at least. Not really any more weight and a whole lot easier on the ears, especially if you use it for dove or something like that. I have a 1300 with a 22"...

I like to use a quaker boy box call, backed up with a quaker boy pro triple mouth call. I also have a lynch box that I get out when its windy.

My first bird this year was at 34 yards. He looked a lot farther but I was looking thru a small opening in a cedar tree when I shot. The second bird was 19 yards. I would prefer to have them around...

I purchased a 935 this spring and am really happy with it. I can tell you first hand, or first nose:(, that the 935 kicks half of what the 835 does! I shot a ton of shells looking for the best combo....
