* Against concurrent seasons and excessive doe tags.

Well the ones who we will lose will be those who just are fed up with not seeing deer. Whether it is because of Audubons attempt at a powergrab and pushing for more herd reductions or some hunters...

actually when faced with similar situation, the hunters of arkansas with AR/HR had thier archery season shortened...... and everyone had their bag limit dropped. That was about six years into it.

Thats pretty much the point though, you shoot the adult does already bred and we all have less deer in spring. Thats called herd reduction, and THAT our esteemed forum mate is "the Alt plan".

There are not 1.5 million licenses for deer in pa.

The PGC press release says for this year it is estimated at 800,000. Which would be a DECREASE since Pa issued 1,040,000 doe tags this...

That is true VA, Pa does have too many hunters. Many are members of camps and farm properties where it is a social enjoyment to be with friends and family. I get as much enjoyment from meals...
