RE: Are your parents hunters?

Neither of my parents are.
I found my way in through just a "love" of deer. I've never actually hunted but if I get the oppurtunity I will take it.

Salt licks, rubs, questions from a "noob"

I purchased a salt lick and set it up infront of my window where the woods meet an open area. Today I check to see if anything had been along and found several footprints. I am going to look into...

RE: Whatcha wanna be?

You too? I want to be a jockey, but I'm too tall. I am deciding between exercise rider or sales consigner or thoroughbreds. I'm a big fan of the latter because I know a couple people who consign...

RE: Mineral Licks

Is it more affective to use salt or to sit out and do a deer call?

I assume salts better all season, but grunts only working during rutting...?

RE: HAS ANYONE EVER BEEN ATACKED BY A WILD ANIMAL?

Normally, unless you get too close to a fawn, only rabid bucks attack...On the 'outside' channel, I saw a show about it...

Do you know how many online rules you're breaking writing in all caps?...

RE: Very New

Can you recommend a scent?

I've planned to get two salt blocks so they're either close to my home, or at a closer forest. I've got the blind supplies set up, I just have to make it-but I will...

RE: Very New

I had found that earlier, but I'm afraid of sounding very 'noobie' ish. But I will ask around in there. His website is really informative-

RE: A rare animal?

It's head still looks brown to me. Not saying they're horses, but when horses grow their winter coat their fur gets darker, and that looks like the case here-but that's only cause I'm skeptical, and...

RE: im going to hunt this year like a real man

Very New

I'd like to think I know a fair amount of stuff on deer-but not hunting. Don't even know where to begin-from the points a deer earns to how to use the 'deer horn' as it's called around here.

RE: Horrible mounts!!

Not honoring both a experience and a dead animal isn't a good thing, but when he gets older I'll bet he might take it back. Be a pity for it to fall apart.

BTW, if you took a picture to a...

This summer we're going to be a couple miles from Pigeon Forge. (sp?) Supposedly right besides a mountain.
I was wonder if there are wolves in TN. I'm sure there are deer but anyone have the idea...

RE: northern florida info?

Pensacola.

I'm not sure about bass fishing, I'm not a expert on fishing at all, but Pensacola is a ocean/bay area, a quite little town with a nice center, and the houses around it are old...
