We're kickin' it up for turkeys here in a week+, and are pumped. In Maine, I pulled a Season B tag, so my opener isn't until May 9th. That's Ok, though, as I'm hitting VT next weekend for...

Here in Maine, the norm, (if there is such a thing), goes something like this:
-- pre-rut....October
-- full swing....mid November

Of course, rut sppressants can be a problem, like too much...
