i took my first deer with a bow on my first season, second day when i was 13 years old....

I have killed a deer every season except one:) so i guess I am one of the lucky ones..

The General was 2008 bow of the year in most reviews, and I am buying one...

all three make great bows...... Its up to what feels best for you... I shoot a Mathew Drenalin.... Felt the best for me, and I shot the best with it at the shops I bought it from.....

What caliber would you chose trust to drop a deer down from 100-500 yards..... and why???? My cousin has a .270 and says with a 150 grain bullet 10 out of his 12 deer have dropped on the spot, and...

I can see some of the reasons... I am also from hilly terrain in southern Indiana. and have killed more deer with a bow then a gun.... Bu I also dont see why they wont allow rifles... In south...

went and hunted an area today and a nice small buck came out ofthe woodline into the field right before dusk with just enough lightto see I shot him and he bucked down and fell over moving hislegs.....

Bowtech versus Mathews???

I got an older bow from a friend to use this season, which is good because then I can save up and buy the bow I really want for 2005.... I am leaning towards either a Mathews or a Bowtech for the bow...
