I personally prefer Warne Rings for that application. Good strong rings that will hold up to the recoil.

Remember not to over tighten the screws on the rings since that will effect scope...

I miss the white stuff. A little over 2 years in South Carolina was enough for me and the extreme heat. Last year opening day of deer season was 100 degrees. I really miss temps in the teens.
