the wind. I have been hunting for over a dozen years now & cannot recall seeing deer on a stand while the wind is wipping & swirling. I do not mind the cold, rain, or snow but a swirling wind sucks....

Ya....to me lanes consist of say....2-4' generally. They can also range as small as a foot...all depends on the area. If someone is cutting 8 footers they have A LOT of work! LOL

Just found out! Its a Bitternut Hickory tree...& they are bitter nuts...now to find out if deer eat them....they come up in my yard @ nightso I guessing they eat them??
