RE: Quivers

I might start shooting with it on, but only if I get a smaller quiver. That Axis 360 requires more than just grabbing another arrow. You have to unlock, rotate and then take the arrow. It's cool...

Quivers

How many of you shoot with a quiver attached? I have not practiced with my quiver attached and don't plan on shooting that way. I think the quiver is a good idea for someone who stalks, but for a...

RE: hoyt shootter

I have a friend who's a staff shooter for Hoyt, he has the bow, but Easton arrows (Hoyt ally) and gets sights from a different company, releases from yet another. You have sponsors, and use their...

RE: Question on white dipping arrows?

I don't think the fellow was worried about deer seeing him, but some other hunter thinking he was something to shoot at. He does mention that no one else is allowed to hunt there" so I figure he's...

RE: B-Head for turkeys?

I does not have to be used only with the Arrow Dynamics shaft. I have seen many pics of turkeys killed with different shafts than the Arrow Dynamics brand. (Arrow Dynamics and Arrowdynamic...

Thank you.

Hopefully I get to shoot a bigger hog next week (weather permitting).

RE: Atom broadhead on hog

Are you speaking for the group? When you say something is "expensive", are you saying it cost more than it's worth, or are you saying it costs more than you can afford?

I accept that.

If I...

RE: Day 2 - New Hunting Gear for 2005

I just returned home from the show. 3 days of walking. I am exhausted. It was a fantastic show. I got to see R. Lee Ermy and talk to the Nuge. My friend actually got punched in the chest by the...

RE: Atom broadhead on hog

You have not set any reference for "expensive". I don't think I gave it a "glowing" report. I only even mentioned it here because someone else brought it up in another thread and the question was...

RE: GOT MY SWITCHBACK TODAY!!!!!

Aren't the limbsavers also to reduce the stress on the limbs from recoil?

RE: Atom broadhead on hog

Keep checking their website for updates. You can contact the manufacturer through that site and request to field test, but he gets dozens if not hundreds of requests for field testers.

RE: Atom broadhead on hog

The exit hole is bigger than the entrance hole. This is a 100gr broadhead, small cutting diameter on this particular one.

RE: Atom broadhead on hog

They aren't in production at this time. When they go into production, you will be able to get them from Arrowdynamic Solutions, and whomever else sells them.

They will be made in the 125gr as...

RE: Atom broadhead on hog

Since they shoot like field points, I don't practice with them, however I have shot them into a foam block and had no problems. The body cannot be destroyed (we beat it with a sledge hammer). The...

Atom broadhead on hog

http://www.nightfishing.net/pics/atomhog.jpg

I was shooting from a Double Bull Matrix, camo net was deployed (fancy word for "in use"). 20 yards from a series of significant rooting signs. ...

I have the Hoyt Xtec and I use the Axis 360 quiver. It detaches in a couple seconds.

RE: Simplicity?

I do not feel we have traded anything. We did not lose the old system, we just gained a newer one. Everyone is free to use the old system still, but most won't. The same is true for guns, reels,...

RE: Can your bow split an atom???

No problem! Turkey season is soon to be upon us, so check out the Gobbler Guillotine that's being sold all over the world. That's another one that drew skepticism at first because of it's...

RE: Can your bow split an atom???

You aint alone in that department my friend. :D

1. The wire is passed through the front of the ferrule, and it clips into the rear of the ferrule (in the one I shot, the production ones may be...

RE: Can your bow split an atom???

Additional drag as compared to just a field point perhaps, but not additional drag as compared to a fixed blade broadhead of the same weight. Drag is created by the flat surface moving through a wet...

RE: Gobbler Guillotine

Actually I need to make a correction here. The individual blades can be reused and/or resharpened. It is not a one time use blade as I indicated previously.

RE: GhillieSuits

There's a fellow in Florida who touches deer (no nothing kinky). He moves constantly but only a few feet in an hour or so. He was taught by an old indian tracker (sounds like a movie). He has...

RE: Gobbler Guillotine

What you are seeing are the aerodynamic plastic sheaths coming off, not the blades. The current design is VERY strong. The sheaths are replaceable, as are the blades, and can be ordered seperately...

RE: Gobbler Guillotine

Yes I have one.

The blades are RAZOR sharp. Although the sheath hides much of the blade, it's no barrier on contact, when the blades slice right through and continue into the target. In fact,...

RE: Gobbler Guillotine

The price isn't that bad considering that the point should last you forever and the blades are replaceable.

I have one sitting on my desk. It's pretty awesome. I plan on taking a turkey or...
