Thought I would start this thread back up.

So, anybody seeing any Elk lately. I camped along the Bumping last week and saw 11 elk the first morning that were feeding in a field near camp.

Yes-sir-ee, I shot mine right across the paved road from our camp. In fact both of the elk we took were on the bumping side of the road.

We saw a total of 5 Elk around camp. Three...

Yup, Thats me. I am the younger fella of the 2 that came to your camp. Small (internet) world!!!!!!

The first spike was taken by another hunter in our camp the day after you left....

Yup, MAD AS HELL!

They had 2 weeks between archery and ML to do their burning but NO!!!!, they had to wait till the season started. If anyone finds out who to complain to please post...

I modern firearm hunted for elk there about 4 years ago. I never saw the first elk, saw plenty of hunters though.

All I can really remember about the hunt was getting soaking wet every stinking...

I have ML hunted the Bumping the last 3 yrs. Never was luckly enough to have been drawn for Big bulls or cows so all we could shot were spikes. Never have harvested there as we never...

Our group got selected for a ML elk cow tag in the Nile unit.

Hope we have better luck than last year in the Bumping unit!
