If they're bent, which 95% of the time they are, they can cause premature wear on your cam's bearings and wallow out the drilled holes in your limbs.

I do believe my Scorpyd is up to the task at 40 to hit the vitals but don't like the energy level at that distance.

If it's a stainess gun, I would just wipe it down after shooting it...

Robin Allen makes the most beautiful and best customhuntingcrossbows of all time.
He builds his own limbs, stocks,and stringsmuch like any recurve or Longbow maker.
