The battery life is not the greatest. I would say somewhere around a little over a week. I get batteries for free which saves a lot of money. If i didn't i would look into getting rechargeable c-cell...

Well I guess I had a pretty good season here in western New york.

The first picture is of the buck I shot on opening day of gun season. The second is the doe I got with with my Savage 10MLII....

I own 2 Browning A-5 Sweet sixteens. They are nice guns, and I don't have a problem with the recoiling barrel. The Remington 1100 would be a gun that I will have to look into. Good choice rick.

Ithaca 37 is a great gun. I have used it for deer many years and have never had a problem. I have hunted in rain and snow. I also keep my guns very clean.
