those spurs could of been 1 1/4 .
the one was worn down and the other looked like the tip was broken off and kinda left a round jagged edge.

pretty soon it will be turkey season and time to buy new toys.

2003 gobbler

here is my 2003 gobbler , 19.5 lbs, 7 1/2 in. beard,and 7/8 in. spurs. gobbler was shot on last day of spring gobbler season.

what make of shot did you use?. did you use different brand of shot.
i used 3 1/2 in. shot cup and knights #4 hot shot which is about 340 pellets.its tight and very close to 2...
