RE: I have given up, and gone to the darkside...

RE: I have given up, and gone to the darkside...

I saw a post a while back on another board calling Mathews "the dark side" . It's a Star Wars reference, wherein Mathews is like the dark side of the force - seductive, powerful, and deadly... once...

I have given up, and gone to the darkside...

Well, I did the unthinkable tonight... after many months of flat-out lousy shooting with my new liberty, I went to my local shop and ended up walking out with a new Mathews. I tried them all...

RE: Drew a fall license... gettin' pumped

I know the area pretty well, so I generally set up where they travel to and from the roost. I call sparingly, and rely on ambush mostly. I got good tom this way last fall. I really like the rain as...

Drew a fall license... gettin' pumped

I got my card in the mail from the DNR last week saying I was selected for the fall hunt. October is awesome in Michigan - if the wind isn't right or it's raining too hard to bowhunt deer, you can go...

RE: Winchester Model 1300 Short Turkey

I bought one last January. I think it's a great gun. I shot my biggest (27 lbs) tom to date this spring with it. It shoots well, but I'm still searching for the best choke tube for it.
