RE: Change in leupold warranty

Just e-mailed Leupold and asked this question. If I bought a new still in the box Leupold scope from e-bay, would the warranty still be good? Received a response from Sharon Stephen (Leupold), saying...

RE: SIMMONS Pro 50

The Aetec also has the fast focus lever which works well with gloves on. Just recieved Cabela's new cat. and they are dropping most of the Simmons line in it. Good luck.

RE: SIMMONS Pro 50

Thanks guys for the info. I, too, like the Aetec. Really like the settings and the low magnification. If the view in low light were better, I’d swear by it. I assume you had some problems with the...

RE: SIMMONS Pro 50

I also see the "get what you pay for" reply. The leupold scopes seem very good but in a 50mm reticle the lowest setting is 3x magnification in VX ll. Where I hunt now my longest shot is about 250...

RE: Does any one not shoot does ?

Good luck on your future hunts. Every state has wildlife management to control the populations of deer. Some years, when deer populations get to high, more tags are issued to thin the herds. Nature...

RE: Energy vs. Velocity vs. Caliber

In response to all the above comments, the only rifle I shot was a borrowed Browning bar 30 06, I think 150 grn. power points with Simmons ateac scope. 5 deer shot between 100 - 130 yds. ( unlimited...

Energy vs. Velocity vs. Caliber

Doing some research on calibers and weights to determine what type of rifle to buy. Somewhere between a 270 wsm up to a 338. I've looked at different ranges for these sizes and tried to compare...

RE: GPS or Compass, which do you prefer?

Mike, your GPS should have both. I like the GPS for accuracy, but given unpredictability of battery life, I'd keep a compass with you for safety reasons. Technology lets us do more and more. Just...
