RE: 280 vs 7mm-08

Choose one based on performance differences. Both are excellent calibers IMO and are favorites of mine. I own a 7mm-08 and may own a .280 soon. Not because of ballistic differences, but because I...

35 ATA with 32" draw

Does anyone shot a Parker Ultra lite 35 bow with a 32" draw? The 35 ATA length concerns me with a 32" draw. But I need the 32"

I said I don't count on it. Sorry if I over did it. I do believe there maybe a larger Couger population than states will accept. But I do not believe that we should have to be on greater alert or...

I was just trying to answer the one question. I was just saying gravity is independant of everything else. And is constant.

A bullet would actually fall slower in dense air because...

RE: Bullet "Rise" - Dispell the Myth

Air density affects the bullet path independant of gravity. You would need a super computer to try to figure where a bullet would travel in real conditions. You have different air densitys, wind...

Do you watch to much TV. The change of you seeing one in NY is much less than getting struck by lightening or winning the lottery. Because those happen to people on a regular basis, but I don't...

RE: Ruger 77 MK II in .270 Win

I like the Ruger, but I would go with wood if you are hunting. When the plastic gets cold it is very loud when anything touches it. Much louder than some others (Winchester).

RE: What make of 7mm08 rifle?

RE: Best Antelope rifle???

RE: rifle rookie has a question

Since you are going to Missouri is guess you will be hunting whitetail. I would suggest .243, .260, or 7mm-08. All are based on the .308 so brass has the same capacity, but the less mass the bullet...

RE: Sako vs Tikka

I would go with the Sako. And would not consider a short mag in Tikka. With their one size fits all action there is no advantage in action length over convential calibers.
