When you buy your hunting license, they should give you a big game syllabus with it. There used to be a map of all the state land throughout NY in that. If not, try calling your local DEC office....

Nothing has been done yet, but it's my understanding that eventually, NY bow will open the first of October. The extra 2 weeks are to make up for us bowhunters losing the last weekend of our season....
