RE: .22 hornet

I've got a Krico in .22 Hornet and i use it for foxes, corvids, the odd hare and dispatching deer. A great round which does the job very well.

RE: cat problems

No one has mentioned shotguns yet!? Surely they must be reasonably tame, so bait them and shoot them at about 20yds with BB's etc so you know they wont run when hit correctly.

RE: Rabbit Hunting.

Mines all year and you can take as many as you want. Here in the UK i believe it is the landowners lawful duty to remove rabbits, so more fun for me!!!

RE: Legalize AZ Pred. Night Hunts

Hacimsaalk,
Why is it crazy to use a rifle at night if you have got a powerful enough lamp and a backstop? We can hunt most vermin at night here in the UK e.g foxes, rabbits, hares, rats.

RE: Want to save coyote hide...what caliber?

.222, 223, .22/250? you could use the .243 and only take head shots but ts a bit risky especially if the bullet goes in low etc.

RE: Fox in Live trap?

AmanitaVerna has got it. If you catch it poke a .22 through the bars and shoot it in the head, shotgun will obviously ricochet of the bars and will make more of a mess. Good luck!

Depends if you will only use it for game. If so ejectors, if not extractors simply because you dont need the faster reload and it should be cheaper.

RE: Ferrets
