no way you should have shot at that deer either time u saw it. walking away then at 600yards your lucky you didn't wound that deer or lost it

PA end your late season

Two guys I work with went hunting with two guys from pa. during late muzzleloader. They shot 4 deer 3 were bucks that already dropped there antlers. Just seems kind of dumb to me to have antler...

It seems real easy to me the pet deer farmers are to blame. They've been testing wild deer for a couple years now & didn't find anything in ny. The nearest state is Ill. that has wild deer with cwd....

Lefthanded bow ?

Does anyone know of a place to shoot alot of different lefthanded bows? Am looking to buy a new 1 will spend around 500.00 I live in western NY will travel up to 2 hundred miles from south of buffalo.

If their really afraid of cwd get rid of the pet deer farms! Wouldn't a deer that was heather like 1 being fed at the hardest time of year be less likely to get a decease? Yes I know about yarding...

I talked to a friend of mine about the deer season. He & his 2 sons all took bucks & a few does. My friend hunted the first day & part of 2 sats. He saw 60 some deer 9 bucks with 4 or more points....

I would go with rifle but I would limit my range. 150 yrds would be tops & thats with a good rest. If you go with a bow 25 yards would be tops. Every situation will be different depending on the deer...

I have a tc omega also. I shoot 2 pellets & 240 grain sabots. I havn't tryed 3 pellots yet. The only animal I've shot with it was a wood chuck at 135 yards. smoked him!

I'm glad your son got a deer. Yes scents do work sometimes. What I don't like about it is everybody & there brother buys the stuff walks out in the woods puts some on the ground & gets lucky.

Our season started on friday . I've hunted a total of 6 hrs in not the best of conditions. I've had 5 different bucks with in 15 yards & saw 2 of the bucks twice.
