RE: New Peep...Shooting Issues

I was practicing with my Bowtech Patriot Dually this weekend and confirmed that with a larger peep opening, you can get some variation in your group.

Obiviously, if you can't keep the front...

RE: Reason for nocking point to be high and not square?

I hadn't intended to touch mine unless I saw an obvious reason to do so.

Mine's shooting great now, and while I still have a touch of "new-bow-itis," i'll wait until after season to find...

Reason for nocking point to be high and not square?

I was shooting my bow this weekend and someone else was studying it and asked why my string loop was set up to put my arrow on high of what would give me a "square" setup with the rest.

I looked...

RE: Worst hunting show

Reading this thread makes me realize I don't know which shows I really like.

It's so hit and miss.

I despise the all ad-spot shows where every other word out of their mouth is a product...

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads

K, I'll be the oddball... Blazers with 100 gn Rocky fixed ironheads on my axis arrows don't work. They'll keep a field tip stable, not the bh.

RE: p.o.i jumping 6" to 1 foot at 15 yds

Update time.

After restringing the bow with 452x, and putting probably 180 shots through it, I think all is set. I may have some fliers do to me moving my eye a bit behind the peep, though. I...

RE: Loud Blazers

My Blazers are much louder than my Flex Fletch. Paper ripping...or paper fluttering (playing card on bicycle spokes almost...but not as crisp)

yep...somewhere back through this thread...or in a parallel one, I'd already read Spott Hogs stuff... I also had talked with one of them specifically about this bow.

Thanks

RE: p.o.i jumping 6" to 1 foot at 15 yds

Well, bow will be restrung with 452x.

Dealer says all things being equal...he thinks a cable is stretching and isn't stopping (hence going out of time every 60- 100 shots)

RE: Patriot Dually goes"CLUNK"

I can think of two reasons you'd get a clunk. First one...your modules are loose, hit them with an allen wrench and make sure they are tight.

Second... the cams or the axle aren't true and the...

Deerstalker replacment nipples

What are my options for hotter, "more reliable," replacment nipples for a Lyman SS Deerstalker?

I'm interested in ones that use #11's. Musket Caps, and even 209's (if someone makes them).

RE: Small fixed head choices

I don't know if they count as small heads... but I've shot Rocky Ironhead 125's on my old bow, and now am using Rocky Titanium 100's on my new bow. They always seem to fly true for me.

RE: p.o.i jumping 6" to 1 foot at 15 yds

I had though from what I was reading that creep tuning was adjusting a bow that was in good sync, to what might be called slightly out of sync to handle the problem of creep shooting.

But like I...
