RE: your first deer

My first deer was a small 8pt buck taken with a bow in 1986. I still have the rack hanging on the wall. It is now accompanied by my first P&Y buck I harvested this past fall. That little 8pt is...

RE: Is it true

If I ever had to choose between bow hunting or gun hunting, the choice would be easy - bow hunting. Bow hunting is truely the greatest way to enjoy the outdoors and challenge your abilities as a...

RE: First bow kill, but I feel a little bad about it.

Great Job, you should be very proud of your accomplishment. Any animal taken with a bow and arrow is a trophy because not everyone can do it. I have been bow hunting for 22 years and my most...

RE: Do whisker biscuts ice up

I have hunted with the Whisker Biscuit for 3 years now and have never had a problem with it. In 22 years of bowhunting it is by far the most reliable rest I have ever used.

RE: Do you gun hunt also?

I gun hunt, but I have passed on using my rifle (.270) and my shotgun. I now use a pistol. I hunt from the same stands I use in archery season so there is no reason to hunt with a weapon with the...

RE: Timberline No-Peep

Super product! Picks up on a slight twist in the wrist and ensures the same anchor point every time. Makes me much more accurate.

RE: My First P&Y Buck

Rack-attack,
I harvasted him near Tomah, Wisconsin. It is by far the biggest buck anyone has seen or taken in that area since I started hunting there. He is going to be hard to top!
